Tolerance is your capacity to endure pressure before you react. It's your mental shield against the daily onslaught of minor annoyances and major setbacks. In the game, when a STRESSOR hits, choosing to TOLERATE is you raising your shield. You absorb the impact with only a minor dent in your Focus Level, proving your resilience.
Fortitude defines the depth of your reaction when your shield is breached. Do you stumble, or do you crumble? Reacting with low fortitude in the game unleashes an emotional earthquake, causing a massive drop in your Focus Level. Building high fortitude means that even when you get hit, you remain anchored and the disruption is minimal.
Resilience is your superpower of recovery. It’s not about never falling, but about how quickly you get back up. In The Focus Meter, your Focus Level naturally regenerates over time, simulating this vital skill. A resilient mind returns to its baseline with speed and grace.
Adaptability is the ultimate test: did the battle make you weaker or stronger? It determines your new baseline. Hardship can either chip away at your foundation or forge it into something stronger. In the game, your Final Score is your adaptability rating. Finishing above 100% means you didn’t just survive—you evolved.
